Michelle Riband studied Global Health at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed an Executive Education program in Digital Marketing at London Business School. She has worked in the US and Europe across the tech, health, and food & beverage sectors, including experience at: Facebook, City Cancer Challenge, PepsiCo, Rabin Martin, and Nestlé. She is currently based in Berlin leading the Go-to-Market Strategy team for Mozilla in Europe.
In her various roles, Michelle has led brand development, go-to-market strategies and multi-channel marketing campaigns. Managing cross-functional teams, she has worked across different audiences (children, teenagers, parents, millennials, policymakers, the media, academics, and nonprofits) and stages of product growth (from building new apps to tackling misinformation on Facebook).
Multilingual (English, French, Spanish) and multinational (Swiss, American, Peruvian), Michelle has a global perspective and has launched products across six continents.
In her free time, Michelle is an avid singer and outdoors-person. She also recently launched her own blog, called Beyond the Brambles, featuring poetry and personal essays about her travels.
